The 3rd edition of the MINT Chinese Film Festival (MINT CFF) is coming soon!

Mark your calendars for February 21st-23rd, 2025, at the Keswick Alhambra Cinema.

2025 3rd MINT CFF will bring a new selection of the best Chinese and Asian films, exciting film programmes, festival gala, screenings, director’s Q&As, workshops, industry drinks, and outdoor Asian Arts & Craft Market with free cultural activities for the whole town to enjoy: a full Chinese New Year extravaganza in Keswick!

Festival Passes will be available to book after the new year via our webiste.

The MINT CFF established in 2022 by film curator Yixiang Shirley Lin and Alhambra co-owner Carol Rennie, brings the best and new Chinese films from around the world to the lovely Lake District, with a focus on cross-cultural communication, supporting women filmmakers and artists, and presenting underrepresented voices, images and stories.

We are the UK's first women-organised Chinese film festival focussed on cross-cultural communication and women’s representations in films.
